June 1… “How did THAT happen?!” Some people asked, skeptically, or was it sympathetically? I responded, “I was editing a video while leaning leisurely against the wall in my apartment; when, suddenly, I made a quick motion and the iPhone slipped from my hand and targeted the corner bone under my left eyebrow!“.

OUCH!

BTW: I am publishing this on June 8. I may have another week to go before it’s “shiner” presence is totally a passing memory. Nevertheless, I had a great 81st birthday.

An “Incursion”?? Excursion??? War!!!

Pastel, Charcoal, Pen, Pencil, Silver Spray Paint, Lace Template—-BTW: it was very difficult to post this, it’s not peaceful, it’s how I’m feeling about the times, today… I have lived in other countries, and this image expresses how I feel for the people who are suffering at the moment: the people with no homes because they’ve been destroyed, and they have to find somewhere else to go. I don’t know if this really expresses that, but that’s what I’m feeling. I hope you understand.
