This was such a long hiatus I took from photography, but I’m glad to finally be back. Pharmacy school has been tough and I couldn’t balance everything that I wanted to do. However, lately I’ve gained some free time and all I did was watch a film by Peter McKinnon called The Bucket Shot. That film inspired me and relit my photography passion that I once had. The film was cinematically and beautifully crafted to invoke the feelings of “this is a once in-a-lifetime opportunity; go seize it” kind of thing. Before I knew it, I was already watching YouTube videos continuously, learning more about photography AND filmmaking. It’s hard to describe this feeling except, this feeling is a passion that refuses to let go. Regardless of how crazy this year will get, I’m going to challenge myself to do more with photography and filmmaking! I’m excited to be back, but even more with improving myself as a photographer and as a new filmmaker.
