What wild times we are living in. Feeling so much for all those running small businesses and experiencing closures. As a freelancer I’m used to up and down weeks but know not everyone can weather those storms. Hope if you can you can take some time for self care this week. Posting these pretty pictures for we shot a few months back. Most of my clients have pushed their shoots which makes me appreciate them and their social responsibility. I also understand that some businesses may need new product shots or imagery to keep their businesses going on the next few weeks. I have a full photo studio with props and surfaces and all the gear/equipment to shoot in here and can complete jobs for you in full isolation, sending images remotely. I even have a few hand models in captivity with me 🤣Reach out if you need help!

WE WROTE A CHILDREN'S BOOK! I’m very excited to announce and I's debut book, 'The World Needs More Purple People'. This project is very near and dear to my dad heart. It's on pre-sale today (link in bio) and will be released on June 2nd of this year.
It began nearly three years ago with a conversation around a table of friends. We felt discouraged over the current cultural conversations that were highlighting all of the the things that made us different instead of the things that brought us together as humans. We wanted our kids to have a story and a social identity that could help them overcome that divisiveness. This book is our way to spark some language of human connection back into the world. Because one thing we know as parents, is that it's often our kids who remind us what it means to be curious, empathetic, and silly. And sometimes it's important to let them lead the way.

I was thrilled to shoot for recently for their crown event, highlighting hair discrimination in schools. We shot portraits of some girls leading the charge, a group shot of 80+ girls and women, and candidates of the event. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to photograph Dan McCleese and Tom Ingersol for the environmental defense fund. It was a real honor to meet two geniuses that are working to build the MethaneSAT, a satellite headed to mars to help detect methane emissions here on earth. I got two hours with them and we conducted two solo interviews, broll video footage around campus and a series of individual and solo portraits. It was a haul but really fun. Thanks for having me on! @ Caltech Campus.
