Some friendships start long before words.
Before memories. Before understanding who belongs to who.

They just kind of find each other from the very beginning.

And somehow, from day one, they already know:
you’re my person.

When you’re living these moments, it feels like you’ll remember them forever.

The way your baby looked sleeping on your chest.
The tiny sounds they made.
The way your toddler touched their little fingers for the first time.

But newborn days move so fast.
And little by little, the details fade.

That’s why photos and video matter so much.
Not to create something perfect — but to hold onto the moments your heart knows were important, even if life was moving too fast to fully take them in.

If you’re looking for a Los Angeles newborn photographer for a calm, natural in-home session, I’d love to help you keep this chapter exactly as it felt.

There are moms whose journey to motherhood didn’t begin with two pink lines.
It began with waiting. Hoping. Appointments. Patience.

And I’ve always had a special admiration for those women. 🤍

Both of my boys came into my life through IVF, so I understand this path more personally than most — with a deep respect for everything it can take to finally hold your baby in your arms.

Maybe that’s why it means so much to me when moms share their stories with me.
Their strength. Their happiness. Their long-awaited little miracles.

And being able to preserve these first moments for them feels incredibly special every single time.

Skip the studio.

Honestly, most newborn sessions don’t need one.

You already have everything you need at home. Your baby is comfortable there. You’re comfortable there.

And you don’t have to pack half your house, get everyone dressed, drive somewhere, and hope the baby stays asleep on the way.

I come to you.

We use the best light in your home, take breaks when needed, and move at your baby’s pace.

Your home also makes the photos feel more personal years later — the nursery you spent months putting together, the couch where you fed them at 3am, your dog trying to be involved.

That’s real life. And that’s usually what people want to remember.

And no, your home doesn’t need to be huge or “Instagram perfect.”

If you’re looking for an in-home newborn photographer in Los Angeles, send me a message and I’ll send over details.

The secret to a calm, breathtaking newborn photoshoot is simpler than you think.
It’s your home.

It’s the place you already know.
The place where your baby settles easier.
Where your toddler can step away and play with their own toys when they need a break.

A newborn session doesn’t have to feel like an event.
It doesn’t have to add pressure to a mom who’s already doing everything.

It can feel like a slow morning.
Like holding your baby a little longer than usual.

That’s where the magic actually lives.

If you’re looking for a newborn photographer in Los Angeles, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, Culver City, or Santa Monica, I’ll help you keep this chapter exactly as it is.

Let’s do it in a way that feels natural to you.

Want newborn photos that truly tell your family’s story? It starts with one simple choice.

Choosing to slow down.
Choosing comfort over perfection.
Choosing real moments in the place your story is actually unfolding — your home.

In-home newborn sessions aren’t about props or stiff poses. They’re about connection. The way your baby fits into your arms. The way your toddler leans into you. The quiet smiles you don’t even realize you’re giving.

Stylish. Natural. Effortless.

If you’re looking for a Los Angeles newborn photographer or planning an in-home newborn session in Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, Culver City, or Santa Monica, I’m here to create a calm, stress-free lifestyle newborn photography experience that preserves this chapter exactly as it is.

Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment. This is it.

There isn’t just one “perfect” window for newborn photos.

Yes, those first 5–14 days are dreamy and curled up.
But a few weeks later? You start getting eye contact… maybe even the very first smile.
A little longer? Personality begins to peek through, and the connection between you becomes even deeper.

And on video — those tiny movements, the way they look at you, the way you hold them — it’s simply priceless.

Every stage has its own magic.
The truth is, it’s almost never too late.

Your baby right now is still little. Still changing. Still worth remembering.

Dear moms, it’s never too late to capture real life — exactly as it is.
If you’re looking for a newborn photographer in Los Angeles, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, Culver City, or Santa Monica, I’m here to help you save these memories.

I feel like I’ve been doing this forever — saving the best moments in photographs.
I remember that first engagement session of Adam and Eve like it was yesterday.

I even have photos of dinosaurs…
they just never gave me permission to publish them.

Experience?
Pretty much since the beginning of the Earth.

When is the best time to book your newborn photographer?
As an LA mom and photographer, I know your to-do list is already a mile long—from nursery mood boards to navigating 405 traffic. Here is the honest, stress-free breakdown of how the timeline actually works:

🩶The Booking Window: 32–40 Weeks
I love to have you on my calendar during your third trimester. This isn’t just for my schedule; it’s your safety net. I only take a limited number of families each month to ensure everyone gets my full attention. Don’t worry about the “exact” date—we pick a tentative one and move it whenever baby decides to arrive.
🩶 The “Sweet Spot”: 2–3 Weeks Old
While some photographers rush for those first few days, I prefer waiting until baby is 2 to 3 weeks old. This gives you a much-needed breath to settle in at home before getting in front of the camera.
🩶 “Wait… am I already late?”
From one mom to another: Never. Whether your baby is 1 week or 4 weeks old, they are worth capturing. Older newborns actually bring the “awake advantage”—we get to see those soulful, wide-eyed looks and those first big facial expressions.
In a city that’s always moving, your session is the one time to slow down. Don’t let a “late” start stop you from freezing these moments. You’ll never regret having these photos, but you might regret waiting until they’re already crawling!
