I've come across some SAD NEWS TODAY, as I find out that @101.coffeeshop will be closing down. David and I have great memories of our breakfast there just before our hike up Runyon Canyon in Hollywood and planned to revisit next time we were in L.A. To hear that it won't be possible, is heartbreaking.

Change is inevitable, especially in the times we are living. And this is why I love photography so much. It isn't the gear, the flashes, the perfect focus or most expensive lens. It's to be able to capture a moment, an experience, a space that will most definitely change, and so keeping a record of it as it once was, to share that experience or memory, nourish it and embrace the nostalgia that comes hand by hand with it. It's a very warm feeling. Like a hug.

If you haven't visited 101 Coffee Shop I hope my images bring you a little feeling of what it was like giving you the opportunity to experience something that has inevitably changed and may not be back again.

Somerset 2020.
I can't wait to show you the photos from my shoot with . For press and artwork I let my clients pick the images they want as part of the project, so I have sent over contact sheets and for now all I can do is wait until I receive the selection and I can start editing!

I don't like touching my images too much, so it's usually a very simple and quick job of correcting white balance if needed, a little colour grading, making sure the light is on point and done!

But while we wait, here are a few shots of the villages I visited while on location.

Robin Hood’s Bay and the Cleveland Way. 2020
For my birthday we took a weekend away in Yorkshire and I got to see some beautiful coastal towns that I didn't even knew existed. A lot to photograph on a 3 hour walk/hike along clifftops. Believe me, the images do no justice. @ Robin Hoods Bay

Southend 2020.
Yesterday I drove to Southend for a job that didn't happen. But I managed to take (in my opinion) a few good ones.
