Some photos I took during last week’s Pacific Airshow.

Quite fascinated by the v***r cones and contrails created as these fighter jets flew through humid sky. I used to think they are sonic boom but they are not.

These are actual direction the planes are flying (photos were not rotated).

Yes, it’s Friday yet again. Time to get out to photograph some wildlife. Here’s another shot of pin-tailed whydah gliding into “yellow clouds”. Look so soothing but in reality they fly pretty fast.

Belted kingfisher soaring between trees. Had a good workout just trying to follow it from one tree to the next sometimes across a lake. Fortunate to have a shot with it coming near to me.

Happy Friday! We made it to the end of the week again! 🙌🏽 Here’s a green heron taking flight. Love the mix of dark greens with lighter shades of yellow and white that defined its feathers. Taken with Sony A1 with 200-600m.

Happy Monday! Pin-tailed Whydah. The male has a long tail and a red bill. This shot makes it looks like it was floating slowly in the air but in reality they fly fast.

Copper Hawk. This guy flew to a tree near me as I was walking by, and before I could get my camera properly set up, it took off towards me. Sometimes you are not ready but you shoot anyway, and thankfully it turned out better than expected. The light was harsh and I had my EV set to +2 and forgot to dial it back.
