Today marks 1000 days without alcohol.

I can’t imagine carrying that burden again. It’s strange—alcohol is the only drug where people assume you have a problem if you don’t use it. The truth is, I do have problems and I still fight my demons—but the weight is lighter without a drink.

To those who’ve stood by me on this journey, I owe you more than words.

My hope is to inspire others and show that you don’t need alcohol to enjoy life. Yes, a cold beer after golf is extremely satisfying, but for me the pros and cons never balanced out. In the end, I chose to tip the scales in my favor—and that choice has made all the difference.
