But seriously.,, My camera roll is an absolute gold mine. Thousands of little treasures, beautiful women, stolen moments, and so much magic I won’t even get to in my lifetime.

I have thousands of photographs that have never seen the light of day. I often get overwhelmed with the amount of content that I have.

But every time I go digging through my archives, I find another little love affair waiting to happen.

This one … the light. The shadows. The softness. That beautiful space between what you see and what you imagine.

I spent the whole day making videos. The Italian model I shot it Italy two years ago. I finally pulled her frames back today and oh my gosh. So sexy. The light, the shadow, the way she holds still like she knows exactly what she’s doing. I move in spurts. I go quiet for a stretch, and then I cannot stop. New tools, and suddenly I can make everything I can see in my head. I’m having way too much fun with it. My creative backlog is embarrassing. Years of Shoot you have not seen seain yet. She is one of many. Tell me. The stills the videos, or the story of how I ended up in Italy?

It’s so many subtle things...

A sexy photograph has nothing to do with how much skin is showing. It’s posture. It’s movement. Je ne sais quoi. It’s a woman relaxing into the rhythm of her own body.

There is a moment in every session when she stops performing for the camera and starts keeping it company. The shoulders drop. The slip slows down. That is when I really start shooting, because that is when she arrives. Friday looks good on her.
