How to stay inspired this weekend...
Pull up content from artists you obsess over, then spend time dissecting their work.
- Write down the things you love about the piece.
- What do you think the artists is trying to portray?
- What type of emotion do you feel when you look at the piece?

Then:
- Compile inspiration images, and look through them to find the common themes.
- Are you natural drawn towards specific colors, textures, or types of art? Minimalism, or Abstract? Classic or Contemporary? Sculptures, or Paintings?

From there you can continue to go deeper and find other artists that inspire you. Dissecting their work and on and on...

If your brand is needing fresh photos quick, here’s some lighting tips for an easy product photo you can post in minutes...

• Natural light works best for lifestyle images. Depending on the look you’re going for, if you’ve got a window there’s endless opportunities.
• No window? Head outside with some white foam core/poster board (or a white sheet, towel, or anything to diffuse & direct the light)
• If you can shoot RAW format - obviously that’s ideal to really push the boundaries in editing. If not, the iPhone lenses are killer.
•Start minimal with the props, you can always add in as you go.
•Finally... just go with the flow. Don’t put pressure on yourself! Keep it light and fun, and you’d be surprised what you can create in 5-10min.

This was from a trip to Paris in the spring, and I’ve honestly never felt more inspired. So many little hidden corners to drink coffee.

Carving out time in the workday to have quality chats with him.

I know how fast the day flows by, and the constant chime of emails and notifications rolling through can pull us away from smaller moments. One quick tip: I’ve been practicing time batching and it’s literally saved my work life these past few years. There’s many strategies out there, but the main point is to break up tasks into quickly digestible sections. 30-60-90 min/whatever works for you.
