Daria Noir Photography Intimate weddings & creative portraits photographer in Los Angeles Hey there, I’m Daria, but you can call me Dasha — both ways work!

Hailing from the frosty plains of Siberia, I’ve swapped snow for sushi, spending the last 6 years soaking up the vibrant culture of Japan. Here’s a little snapshot to help you get to know me better:
- I hold a master’s degree in linguistics & translation, mastering not only languages but also the art of communication.
- With a linguistic toolkit in hand, I’m fluent in three languages: Japanese, Eng

lish, and Russian. Yes, I can even tell jokes in three different languages!
- Ever caught me on Japanese TV? That’s right, I’ve dabbled in the world of TV hosting and producing — talk about prime time fun!
- After leaving my TV world behind, I turned my lens to capturing life’s fleeting moments professionally. Who knew TV could be a springboard to photography?!
- I love studying so much so I graduated from Moscow’s Higher School of Photography while working on TV. I always loved photography more than anything — oops!
- I’m a huge fan of sushi (of course!), hot springs, road trips and good movies. Oh, and if you see me with my camera, I’m not just snapping pics — I’m weaving tales through the lens since 2021. So, whether it’s a candid moment or a carefully composed shot, I’m here to capture your story, one frame at a time.

Motherhood is a decision that quietly changes everything.

A life that was once your own begins to revolve around someone else – their needs, their world, their becoming.
It’s not just love. It’s a constant choosing.

There is something incredibly profound in that –
the way women step into a life that asks for more than it gives back, and still call it the most meaningful thing they’ve ever done.

I lost my mom when I was 12. And maybe because of that, I see it even more clearly now, how much of a life is made of the moments we don’t think to hold onto at the time.

Motherhood isn’t just a chapter. It’s a transformation that deserves to be seen, remembered, and honored.

Because one day, these images won’t just be photos.
They’ll be proof of a love that shaped someone’s entire world.

Santa Barbara is one of those places where everything just works - light, architecture, colors. This elopement was simple and calm, no pressure, just the two of them enjoying the day. I was mostly following the light and capturing things as they naturally happened, and it all came together in a really cinematic way without forcing anything.

This beautiful intimate wedding at Redbird reminded me so much of my own wedding day.

We had just 45 people, and instead of feeling small it felt incredibly warm, almost like one long family dinner where everyone stayed a little longer, poured another glass of wine, and kept talking (and dancing of course!).

That same feeling was in the air here: laughter across the table, quiet conversations in between courses, people truly present with each other. No rush. No strict timelines. Just freedom, intimacy, and the quiet beauty of being fully present with the people who matter most.

I think that’s the magic of intimate weddings - they don’t feel like a production, they feel like a gathering.

born to fly💙

my favorite moment during engagement sessions is when you stop posing and simply start living in my frame.
No judgment, no stiffness - just the freedom to be yourselves and let your real connection show.

Sunset over the ocean, the sound of waves, and the moment you realize - this is it🤍

This Malibu wedding felt effortless and deeply emotional, like a scene from a film you never want to end. Just love, golden light, and the people who matter most.

Malibu magic always hits different🙃

Even though these two look absolutely like they stepped out of a magazine or a black-and-white European film… they’re actually nurses.

Two people who spend their days taking care of others.
Two calm, grounded souls who somehow turned their wedding day into something impossibly elegant without even trying.

Watching them together felt like witnessing something quiet and powerful, the kind of connection that doesn’t need to be loud to be unforgettable.

Forever grateful I got to document this🤍
