They are here!!!! Holiday Mini Sessions! I asked you guys what locations you wanted and Pasadena won by a landslide so we are doing 3 dates in Pasadena, 1 date in Palos Verdes, and 1 date at Vasquez Rocks.

Like I always say, these sessions are perfect for updating your family photos and holiday cards, but you can also use them for anything you’d like: maternity, engagement, or just because! The only type of sessions that we do not include in minis are newborn sessions because they need way more time.

We are offering our 15 minute session which are perfect for those who just want a few photos for their holiday cards. We also have our 30 minute sessions which give you more photos but still short enough for those with kiddos that might not make it through a full session or for those adults that are a bit camera shy but still want to get some amazing photos.

We have limited spots and spots are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. These sessions tend to book super fast so to be fair to everyone, we do not save spots. You can only confirm your spot by paying the full balance and turning in your contract.

Surprise Minis! Did you know that Grandparents’ Day is September 10th? I wish I could put in words how important documenting the love between grandparents and their grandchildren is.

To celebrate Grandparents Day, we will be hosting mini sessions to celebrate the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. Make your loved ones feel special and let’s document their love and bond. There’s no other like it.
You get photos where the grandparents are the center of the attention. After all, it all started with them. You can get photos with the grandkids only, some of just the grandparents, and while you’re there, make sure to get a generational photo. Nothing more special than that!

It will be quick and painless and something I promise you will treasure for the rest of your life.

These mini sessions will take place on what other date, but September 10th! The location will be in Pasadena. Message us if interested in more info!

There’s a wedding in our family and the countdown has begun! We had so much fun photographing Esme and Joey’s engagement session in Joshua tree! Love it when a couple is down for a road trip. As you can see, it is well worth it!

I couldn’t wait to share this beautiful wedding! It’s been a very long time coming so you know a blog post was a must! Plus, we’ve had the honor of photographing Genevieve and Kevin through the past two years of postponements due to COVID. I always say that my 2020 couples share a special bond with us because we went through some crazy times together. Thank you for sticking with us during these times! So happy your big celebration finally happened and it was totally worth the wait ♥️

You guys, after almost 3 years (thanks to COVID), we have done our first Fresh 48 since the beginning of 2020! I still recall having 2 mamas on the calendar that unfortunately didn’t get to do their baby’s fresh 48 because, at that point, not even the dad was allowed in the hospital room. I can’t believe it took this long but that made this session that much sweeter!

Congratulations to the happy mommy & daddy on your second baby girl! 💕💕 So happy to document another fresh 48 for you !

Choosing the right photographer for your personality is so important. Of course, the photographer’s work matters, but your photographer will be with you pretty much your whole wedding day. You need to make sure it’s someone you’ll be comfortable around. Some people need a type A person, while others needs someone more relaxed. This is why I always suggest getting to know your vendors that will be all day with you and making sure you vibe.

I asked Art to describe me as a photographer and these were the three things he said: I get the job done, not easily stressed, laid back.

I totally agree. I’ve been doing this for 14 years so I’ve seen it all. It will take a lot to throw me off. I also have to thank the kids for my laid back mood 😜 since becoming a mom I’ve learned to take things in stride. I think that rubs off on our couples on their wedding day and helps them just enjoy their day.

Like I said, at the end of the day, what matters is what works for you and your wedding. Best advice I can give you is to get to know your vendors prior to booking so you can have the best team at your wedding 😉

One of the biggest blessings that came out of dealing with quarantine and all the craziness of weddings being postponed is that we got to dedicate so much time to family sessions. I learned that I love this type of photography so much and want to dedicate a big portion of our time to photographing families. That doesn’t my first love, weddings, is being replaced, but there is space for both in my heart 😁

There’s nothing sweeter than baby snuggles. The first weeks with your baby can be daunting and a total whirlwind. All of that on like 3.5 hours of sleep (if you’re lucky). However, 1 snuggle with your baby and you forget all about it.

That’s why I love documenting this stage. One day it will all feel so far away and you’ll even miss the nights of no sleep, because these days are so fleeting. You’ll miss them being this tiny and needing you for everything. You’ll miss these baby snuggles but you’ll love traveling back in time and reliving these moments 💕 That’s what makes my job so special.
