I think this is a must-do for everyone in LA! First, is the incredible design of the movie theater. TCL Chinese Theatre is probably my favorite in the city. And second, watching The Odyssey on true 70mm film, exactly how Nolan imagined it.

Confess, how often do you watch movies on an actual film projector? We’re all so stuck in the digital world lately. Honestly, I’m so deep in it that my first thought was, “Why isn’t the quality perfect? Why are the highlights flickering?” 🤦‍♀️ Dear self, this is real film. Go touch grass and digital detox a bit.

My other thought is just how good the movie is! So dynamic, I barely had time to breathe. It made me remember reading The Odyssey in school. It was one of my favorite required reads, but I never re-read it. The film was so impressive that it brought back everything I read years ago while reliving those moments on screen.
