Meeting people as a nice human, then you find out their position in their company is a nice to have. But for me the most important part is who they are and not what they do. Thats how I treat everyone who stands in front of my camera. All I care about is that at the end of your session, you like what you see. That the person looking back at you is not the way you perceived yourself as looking like or even having that quality within you. My whole point in why I do what I do is that I know I can erase that self talk you do with yourself. Once given the chance. I get the high fives, the hugs and the “that was fun” comments. I love what I do.

The need for a professional headshot is more vital now than ever before. More importantly from a human being which gives you the experience a robot cannot. You look better than you think. Not as old or overweight as you think. It’s always an issue that everyone builds up in their minds as a barrier. Hence the human factor. Specializing in this for close to 20 years has given me a set of skills that always works for everyone who is avoiding me like a dentist 😝. So what’s holding you back ? A original. Thankful to Mark for shooting me and delivering my latest headshot for me to use for the same reasons I preach to everyone who has a face. You never know, but this might be the headshot they use at my funeral. Okay I won’t get dark on you, but bet you’ve never thought of that ? Leaving it to someone who chooses a terrible shot of you haha 😆 seriously though, if you have graduated college, looking for a new job, switching jobs, connecting, marketing, heck even dating online. You need a proper professional headshot. This is me. The real me. I think Mark captured my face the way I imagine how I look. It’s obvious that I feel confident enough to use it and even announce it. I know my headshots value. For the reasons I listed above, but most importantly it becomes an exercise of liking how you look. Especially at a certain age. I say it all the time, but my job our job as professional headshot photographers is to show off your photogenic zone. Ignore that self talk of being tough on yourself and even avoiding this situation all together. Embrace yourself as you are. Be kind to each other but most importantly be kind to yourself.

This is 19. It flew like the millennium falcons light speed. His self awareness and emotional maturity allows me to keep learning more about his process. His life is on discovery mode and allowing it to grow into something special is the prize for me and his mom. Those of us who are parents know exactly what I’m trying to articulate. High school sweethearts Brett and Stefania my nephew and his bride to be. No words for my heart to express my love for these two good humans. Mi familia is growing and there’s always room. I can’t wait to party at their wedding which incidentally falls on Yayi’s and my wedding anniversary. Watching these two grow together puts a big smile on my face. Love you guys more than you know ❤️

Real as it gets. Andy is just one of those humans I keep talking about. A person who really connects human to human. Genuine as they get. I cant say enough of the kind of work I get to do. I don’t see myself ever stopping. Perhaps slowing down, but I just cant see myself ending it.
There are too many people in need of what Ive been gifted to do.
I cant say it enough times. The importance of you having a professional human with an actual camera that knows how to direct you. Create that genuine expression that creates a reaction for the viewer. The kind of reaction that makes them stop and give you at least a few more seconds than they have the other peoples headshots. Some call it stop the scroll.
Keeping it real is what I call it. With that, the real you created by me is solely focused on revealing your awesome.

This use to be our playground. Our home our lives growing up. Our first time the four of us gathered together since the fires. Yes, it’s been that heavy. That difficult. But we have been resilient and building back new memories. Building a new home for mom and creating more Christmas’ and birthdays and all around unity. As always, thank you to all who have shown us such compassion and grace. You’re constantly in our hearts. Hug your family. Appreciate what you have now. Always grateful, The Camarillos.
