After moving from Michigan to Los Angeles to study video game design at the University of Southern California, Clay quickly realized that he didn't want to spend so much time programming. Since Los Angeles seemed pretty great, he stayed and took up the study of photography and theater. After graduation, he started taking headshots of friends, performed improv at the UCB Theater, acted in some comm

ercials, and adopted two weird cats. Clay has shot professionally for over a decade now, during which time he has worked with numerous brands and individuals to create images of people, products, food, and events.

Many thanks to for letting me steal her hat to put on Cat. She did not chat or be a brat, when asked to put her matte hat on Cat. She simply sat, and said, “Of course, do that, you’re the one at-bat, you may put my hat on Cat.”
