I’ve rewritten this multiple times already but I just cant seem to find the right words to express how I feel about No Model. When Sehun told me about this project, I was so stoked to hear that it was gonna be an all asian band. Not a lot of those around But they didn’t wanna be known as the diversity band. They just did their own damn thing, the way they wanted, the way they felt how it was supposed to. No gimmicks, no bs and thats what i love bout em. And they may not admit it but they definitely have done more to the asian culture than a lot of people out there. They were definitely one of the main inspirations and biggest supporters of my book.

I got so many things left unsaid but we’ll do that another time

Last night we celebrated the life of one hell of a band.

Gonna miss this band so much. But I’m sad they’re done, I’m happy to have tagged along for the ride.

Another year around the sun today and the last 365 days has brought incredible things, a lot of challenges and heartbreaks. Moved in with isa_____photo to a place we made our own. Toured with some of the best people (aka bands I looked up to in my youth), ate a lot of incredible food, drank an insane amount of ZOMU Coffee, went to TIED DOWN DETROIT for the first time, published a second printing of my book, lost friends and family, found my love for Fingerboarding again… I can list all the s**t that happened in the past year but it woukd take forever. All I wanna say is, I have learned to live my life as much as I can and to stay healthy (physically and mentally and emotionally), its not a really easy thing but all I can do is try.

Thank you to the people who stuck by my side, in the good, and the not so good. Your love is truly felt. And I wanna give my heart back to y’all ten fold.

I got so much love for yall!

Today, was a bittersweet day coz this community lost an absolute powerhouse. And even if I didn’t know Andy in a personal level.. I looked up to him and his music and how he just lights up a room. And seeing all your stories about him. We should definitely take a page off his book and just be an awesome human being, an awesome talent, an awesome entertainer, and just live life to the max. You will be missed Andrew Williams, my heart goes to everyone who knew him and loved and cared for him. THE BUTCHER FOREVER. 💪
