This Pride Month, I’m celebrating the beautiful LGBTQ+ couples who have trusted me with their stories, milestones, and memories.

As a q***r woman who is married to a woman, this month holds a special place in my heart. I love being gay. I love my wife. And I love celebrating the beautiful love stories within our community.

Every couple featured here has reminded me that love is powerful, joyful, resilient, and worthy of being seen.

I turned 26 yesterday and I’ve been thinking about how much has changed… and how much hasn’t

I’m Azalea, the person behind Captured by Azalea, and I’ve been doing this for over 6 years now

Which honestly feels wild to say out loud… I picked up a camera because I loved how things looked, but I stayed because of how things feel and I think that’s the biggest shift for me lately

I’m not chasing perfect anymore… I don’t need everything to look a certain way to feel proud of it

I care more about the in-between now, the movement, the light, the moments that feel like something you’d want to remember

That’s what matters to me when I’m shooting and that’s what I want people to feel when they see their photos

I’m still figuring things out, still growing, still learning, still trusting my instincts a little more each time

But I know I love this and I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be

So if you’re here, whether you’ve been here or you just found me, hi 🤍 I’m really glad you are
