The 2027 A Purposeful Rescue wall calendar is almost here! Want to ensure your pet’s photo is in it when online sales happen this November?

Here are two ways to do so:

📸 Option 1: Reserve a calendar grid space with a photo of your choice for only $10. Multiple pets + any species welcome in the photos! Just choose your month, upload your photo, and donate $10 to APR.

🌈 Option 2: Honor your late pet with the Rainbow Bridge Memorial collage in the calendar for a $15 donation. Submit their photo, name, and birth/death dates (if desired).

To reserve, click the contest link in our bio and scroll to the orange reservation buttons. 🔗

Either of these is a great way to surprise a loved one with their pet’s photo in the final calendar, too (holiday gift!). But there are a limited number of spaces, so don’t dilly dally!

Shuttermutt Photo thanks you for supporting A Purposeful Rescue with your generosity ❤️
Follow so you don’t miss the calendar release!

If you’re not adopting Wolfie (aka The Wolf of Wall Street), what are you even doing with your life?!

We consider ourselves very lucky to have met this incredible boy with A Purposeful Rescue. It was honestly difficult to focus on taking his photos because we just wanted to hang out. It’s like his old soul energy puts a spell on anyone he meets, luring you into his little love bubble. 🪄🖤

Wolfie was a perfect gentleman in our studio, and his foster Burpee, fosters, and friends only had wonderful things to say about him.

Here are the full deets:

    ◦    He was found as a stray, playing with abandoned kittens on the streets of LA. 🥹
    ◦    10 months Husky/Aus. cattle dog/pittie mix
    ◦    A petite 39 lbs w/ cute nubbin tail
    ◦    Neutered, healthy
    ◦    Just an incredibly nice, gentle dog ❤️
    ◦    Would be great in any home (dogs, cats, kids), but especially with another dog🐕

Can’t wait to see who scoops up Wolfie! We have no doubt he will make an incredible addition to their family.

📍Apply to adopt Wolfie on the A Purposeful Rescue website — APurposefulRescue.org

Can’t adopt? Please repost to help Wolfie find his forever home. 🙏🏻

Before coming to the studio for your pet’s session, you don’t need to decide which artwork you want, and you certainly can’t predict the photo opps your pet will throw our way.

But you will need to decide the background color you’d like us to use for their portraits.

Most people find this process fun!

But maybe you’re indecisive? Clueless about which colors complement which? 😩

No prob, Bob. We can mock up your top contenders and/or our top suggestions for which tones best complement both your home and your pet’s coloring.

Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying that color on your wall every day.

But you won’t really care much about the color in the end, will you? All you’re going to focus on is how much you love that little face in the photo. And rightfully so. 😉

We’re so happy Princess is doing well, and both she and Teddy are still happy and healthy at 13 and 14. ❤️

Their session included lots of patience, observation, and a healthy supply of roast chicken, plus an artwork decision that surprised even their mom!

We’ve shared all the details and photos in the “Client Stories” section of our website, including how we planned their portraits around Michelle’s LA home and ended up with two pretty spectacular Pomeranian faces hanging in her bedroom.
