Happy International Documentary Day!
I’m in the very final stages of finishing Following Pál and just wanna take a moment to give a shout-out to our animator, Triet Le, for his beautiful artistic expression and uncompromising commitment to the pain-staking process of hand-drawn animation. Thank you.

I made it to Santiago de Compostela!!!! Not only have I arrived in Santiago after walking 750 kilometers, but I’ve arrived at a place in my life where I feel FU***NG AMAZING!!!!! I’m so grateful to have this experience and to share it with you and the friends I’ve made along the way. My Camino passport is filled with places I’ve visited, my daily sketchbook full with memories and my will is stronger than ever. Buen Camino!

Day 32: 20km to Pedrouzo. This is it. I reach Santiago tomorrow with the last 20km. I’m truly going to miss following these yellow arrows, coffee breaks at these cute cafes, sharing bunk beds with 40 other pilgrims, and saying “buen camino” to everyone I come across.
This has been an incredible walk.

Day 31: A very long 28km to Arzúa. I walked with some great company today. Stopped in Melide for some really good pulpo and scallop. After that, the last 13km went on for way too long.

Day 30: 24.6km to Palas de Rei. There were a lot of pilgrims today. Sarria is a very popular starting point so definitely experiencing a surge of new pilgrims on the trail. Only 3 days left to Santiago so I’m savoring every kilometer.

Day 30: 24.6km to Palas de Rei. There are a lot more pilgrims walking today. Sarria is a very popular starting point so it’s been a bit more crowded but it’s a nice burst of new energy on the trail. Only 3 days left to Santiago so I’m savoring every kilometer.

Day 28 & 29: Made it to Sarria yesterday and Portamarin today with less than 100km to go! For the first time, I felt no pain or aches on the 22km walk today. Just bliss.

Day 27: Frolicked in the rain up a muddy mountain for 14km to O Cebreiro. Saw a herd of cows with muscular legs walked by. One of them looked at me and said, “You too will have these legs once you’re done with the Camino.” 😂 I then took a taxi afterward to a laundromat and pharmacy to deal with the 70 bug bites on me! 😬
