Every time I photograph, way before I snap a single frame, I slow down internally, secretly, and pay attention to the feeling I have around my subject, I notice their features deeply, and recall what I know about their goals. I do this because I know every choice I make has to be informed by these realities. Nothing is an accident, every thread of a good portrait is tailored. Laney 👁️ 👁️. Headshot by

We know for her terrifying performance on . But as someone who aims to capture the full spectrum of who a person is, I can not only tell you her range is vast, I can show it. The first image to me captures that 90s cozy warmth (tied together with that nostalgic film feel). The next one is a testament to feminine strength and resilience. My guess: Her next performance is going to be a 180 degree cut to a different side of her range. You heard it here first ;). Headshot photo of by

The ol’ I “knew her when” story…I met inde fabi navarrette here at the studio through Matilda Comers at FICTIOUS. Matilda called me to let me know she’s sending me someone she thinks has “it”, and after the shoot I agreed. That said, I don’t think either of us thought “it” would come in the form of the terrifying performance Inde gave in Obsession (a performance that is in large part why Obsession is now the most successful horror film of 2026). came a long way since then. She slowly, slowly, brick by brick was building her talent and experience. By the time this role came along, she clearly had a fortress. 🙌🏽 by

Few people know of a company called Procter & Gamble. But most people know their products: Bounty, Charmin, Old Spice, Pampers, Tide, Gillette, Pantene, Oil of Olay…you get it. What this company figured out is that they’ll make more money if each of the roles they can play has a separate, carefully crafted headshot marketing it. Even two types of paper (Charmin and Bounty) don’t share the same name and color scheme. Procter and Gamble don’t pretend one headshot can work for all the roles they want to play, and they win over and over and over and over and over again. In contrast, Dial (the hand soap) believed they could lean on their brand recognition and start Dial the deodorant. But no one wanted to put hand soap in their arm pits. It was a massive and costly mistake. is as willing as Procter & Gamble to live in reality to serve her career. She’s both this post and the last one, and she makes it clear. // // // by
