The secret for your acting success is simple. Take the long view.
How does that apply to your daily journey? Take for example a casting. Most actors think of a casting as a binary event. I either get the roll or I don't, but there’s a lot more going on than that. You’re building relationships that could be valuable down the road. You will probably see that casting director again at more castings in the future. It’s best to start building that relationship in a positive way. Be friendly, smile, say hi, say goodbye, say thank you. Be professional, be prepared, be the person that they want to work with. Do this every single time. Do it all the time. Do it with all your interactions. Become that person that everyone wants to work with.
