The only legitimate comparison between January 6th and the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII is they were both shameful events in American history. Other than that, those interned during WWIi were subjected to that for no reason other than they were of Japanese descent. The January 6th rioters were incarcerated because they broke numerous laws. Yet another very simple contrast that cannot comprehend.
One Japanese American called the comparison an “egregiously inaccurate and flawed historical analogy.”
