Last Friday was my last day at DreamWorks after (almost) six years of working there and man, was it a good run. DreamWorks felt like home; a home where I felt safe to make mistakes, grow, and be myself. I met so many wonderful, talented, wise, supportive, and kind folks and am so grateful for the friendships and memories made along the way. I will miss everyone a lot (!!) but it’s time for the next adventure in my career. ⁣
⁣⁣⁣
To my DreamWorks family: Goodbye for now, but not forever. Thank you for everything! ⁣⁣⁣

When it comes to camping, I learned the hard way that my sleep system can make or break an experience. But thanks to , I never have to worry about being cold or uncomfortable again.⁣

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to test (and let my friends test) so many of their wonderful products this “California winter,” from ponchos to blankets to sleeping pads and more. I’m not sure where my next camping trip will be, but you can bet I’ll be bringing my gear with me. ⁣

So thankful for these friendships and last weekend’s camping trip. It was exactly what I needed. ⁣⁣ ⁣

Another ski season in the books! Skiing with family on a bluebird day was the perfect way to wrap up the season. French fried down the mountain and straight to the grill to eat more fries. You eat what you ski right? ⁣

So proud of my mom for kicking butt after 6 years off the mountain and for none of us getting injured. ⁣

And as always, thanks to for the sweet jacket and pants! ⁣

People and places of China, 2005. Here’s hoping I can return someday.⁣

Photos taken by my mom on her film camera. Too beautiful not to share.

Oct-Jan snippets on film! Lots of months spent trying to be intentional with my time, focusing on connections with others, and working on self improvement. Many many days were spent on the couch but here are some of the highlights off the couch (but only some because I forgot to bring the camera to most places whoops).

Hopped on a train to the coast and tried out bikepacking for the first time! Plenty of views, nice riding, cool beach towns, and a great intro into this activity where I strap everything onto my bike and hope it doesn’t fall off (including myself).⁣

Spent the last nine days meeting cool folks, working remotely, praying to the WiFi gods, learning about avalanche safety, and skiing in just about every condition from icy man-made snow to whiteout fresh pow to bluebird groomers. Stayed in a hostel for three nights and slept in my car for six. Twas a blast!

And with the mountain temps starting to dip into the single digits at night, I’m so stoked and grateful to be part of the Winter Dream Team. I’ll be putting their gear to the test all winter long and can’t wait for the adventures in store! Cheers to not turning into a human popsicle this season.

A week ago I had the opportunity to photograph the for and holy cow it was such a cool experience. I biked along the course, photographing their team (Team TMF) and other runners from start to finish. ⁣

The McCourt Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting patients and families affected by neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, MS, ALS and Parkinson’s. Those on Team TMF are runners who have fundraised to help further TMF’s initiatives. ⁣

This was my first time photographing a race and I loved getting to do it for an organization that’s making a difference. Nothing beats seeing the look on a racer’s face when they cross the finish line. Photographing a world record was just the cherry on top.
