Feeling so grateful. A little under a month ago, our family met up with my high school classmate, Olivia, for our annual family photo session. It was a ridiculously busy morning, and we were late for our appointment. Already feeling beyond anxious, I did not know what to expect; before we even started, I already found myself apologizing to her for having to photograph us when the kids were all being so crazy! There were so many "I'm not having it, mom" moments! From the kids EACH running in THREE different directions for a good portion of our time with Olivia, to the kids also throwing a few mini-tantrums, to everything in between, Olivia stayed the course - thank God! She was so patient, encouraging, and calming! After nearly twenty years of not seeing each other, I am grateful that we had a pretty cool reunion.
