When I was growing up. A dollar use to get me a whole bag of candy and a bag of chips. I use to walk to one of the many neighborhood stores and buy the following:
- Now and Later- watermelon flavor
- a jolly rancher stick - apple or strawberry or watermelon
- the mini jolly rancher candies- assorted
- sometimes a dill pickle from the counter jar
- a Payday
- Chick O stick
- baby box of lemon-heads
- baby box Boston baked beans
- maybe some Hershey kisses
- Chips-Doritos(original flavor),Funyuns or Crunchy Cheetos

I love living in southern California.
I love everything my state has in terms of beauty. Here is my list of things that I love about my state: Feel free to add your favorites in the comments.
- the beaches
- the national parks 🏞️-Yosemite specifically
- Wine Country🍷 - Napa,
Sonoma, Central California to name a few
- the snow capped mountains
- our diverse communities
- the food culture
- the almost year around warm climate- we are very spoiled especially when it rains.
I could probably go on but that’s it for now.
