A major television star here ....
Ownership:
Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Budweiser, owns the Clydesdales.
Purpose:
The horses are used for promotions, commercials, and parades.
Locations:
The herd is housed at multiple locations, with their primary breeding facility being Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, Missouri. Other locations include the breweries in St. Louis for public viewing.
History:
The tradition began in 1933 when August A. Busch, Sr. received the first team as a gift to celebrate the end of Prohibition.
