We are excited to share a major milestone for our training programs here at the National Test Pilot School in Mojave, California! 📍✨

NTPS coninues to strengthen its strategic partnership with Flight Level Engineering to deliver enhanced Advanced Flight Control System (AFCS) training for our students!

Central to this collaboration are our two Navion Variable Stability In-flight Simulators. These specialized aircraft give our test pilot and flight test engineer students the rare opportunity to evaluate changing handling qualities, variable control sensitivities, and flight control software algorithms live in the cockpit rather than just on a ground-based simulator.

Collaborations like this reflect our core mission: providing world-class flight test education, advancing aerospace safety, and equipping the next generation of flight test professionals with practical, cutting-edge experience.

My buddy Garrett Sherwood recently launched his new business, On Speed Athletic On Speed

Garrett is a U.S. Navy veteran, former F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot, and someone who has always been incredibly supportive of my work in the Naval Aviation community over the years, and I’m proud to return that support.

Another successful Photography for Accident Investigation class in the books, and another year of successfully not annoying my UCLA attending daughter because I teach a course at USC! 😂😂

Really enjoyed working with my students and helping them learn a bit about the basics of photography, and the skills needed should they be called upon to document and assist on an aviation accident.
