From my last shoot for a very special first birthday. The parents just told me “We want it to be a watermelon theme,” and this is what I came up with. I printed out this photo on a huge 20x30 print with a 4 inche matte all around the border for all the guests at the party to sign. The parents had tears in their eyes seeing it for the first time. It was a beautiful moment, and this is what makes my job worth all the hours of planning, designing, scheduling, shooting, editing, printing, etc.
