Finally, I can share this news.
Last year, I had the honor of photographing all of Martha Reeves’ photos for her upcoming album, Martha Reeves: Searching. Her new single drops in July, and the full album — along with a special-edition vinyl for physical media collectors, CD, and digital download — will be released in August.
Today, the journey begins. Link to Rolling Stone article here: link in bio

Here is the exclusive Rolling Stone article featuring Martha as she discusses the making of this remarkable album. The roster of musicians alone is historic — including Stevie Wonder, just to name one. The album was produced by the insanely talented jazz trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis alongside Martha’s longtime manager, Chris Roe, and was fully created in New Orleans.
To see my work become part of this album — and to witness all of the talent and hard work behind the scenes — has truly been a blessing.
I first and foremost want to thank Chris Roe for inviting me into this project. I’ll forever be grateful to him for this incredible opportunity.
And of course, to the Motown legend herself, Martha Reeves — thank you for your beautiful spirit and incredible energy. This woman worked a 12-hour day and still kept going throughout the entire photoshoot.
A special thank you as well to:
* Makeup artist Keesh S. Winkler Smith
* My assistants: Jessica Garcia, Gael Kuni, and Karthik Ganesh Prasad — all graduates of New York Film Academy.
Here is the album cover, revealed last night in Detroit, along with the article link. I hope you take a moment to read this insightful piece.
And finally, to my parents: I know it’s no coincidence this news arrived today, on what would have been their 58th wedding anniversary.
Thank you all for reading and for your continued support.
I’ll be sharing more soon, as the marketing train for Martha Reeves: Searching is only just beginning.”
