Our Story
Stray Angel Films was founded in 2003 as an independent production company by filmmaker and current CEO, Suren Seron. Like so many dreamers in and around Hollywood, Seron started the company with lofty goals for the future. He knew that it would be critical to strike the right strategic partnerships to ensure Stray Angel had the best chance at transforming into a success. As luck would
have it, he met the perfect match, partnering with current COO Josh Burrows, and together, this duo worked tirelessly to grow the Stray Angel brand into a leader in the world of visual media services. The company would later add Chief Rental Officer Billy Civitella, his passion for the industry resonating with clients ever since. Today, you'll find twenty devoted employees running around a Stray Angel facility uniquely positioned on the west side of Los Angeles. While the company has grown far beyond the scope of its small-business origin story, every decision remains wholly influenced by the same mantra: Rentals. Seron and company are committed to relationship building and collaborative partnerships, and all while maintaining that personalized, small-business approach that put them on the map so many years ago. The modern iteration of Stray Angel Films features an impressive 7000 SF facility armed with a green screen, sound stage, and office suite along with a fully stocked catalog of camera equipment up for rent and so much more than that available to those that choose the company for their next project. With every aspect of content production covered down to the most minute details, that digital cinema magic can be managed in-house start to finish thanks to Seron's production expertise. Stray Angel gives clients the freedom to select what matters most to them on a project-by-project basis. With that freedom of choice on offer, Stray Angel Films has been lucky enough to collaborate with a diverse array of creators, producers, and studios from all over the globe. The company's growing client list truly is a 'who's who' in the world of digital media content, covering the gamut from the most prominent corporations like Amazon and Walmart to the biggest studios like 20th Century Fox and Warner Brothers and everything else in between.
