Just wrapped up one of my busiest week in photography as I documented a wedding at Santa Anita Park for a couple whose journey I’ve captured from their proposal to engagement and now their wedding day. I also photographed a surprise sunset proposal at Pacific Beach, all while preparing for my first international trip to South Korea and Taiwan. Ella chose Pirate Tower in Laguna Beach for her graduation portraits and it couldn’t have been a better fit. This was the best wedding that I've ever photographed in my photography career thus far. Junya & Emi's story spans multiple cities and years of missed connections, finally bringing them back together during COVID.

From a first look at Knox College to blue-hour portraits framed by the CN Tower, the day was intimate, thoughtful, and beautifully untraditional. Being there as both photographer and guest made it especially meaningful.
