Never say never! Because recently I've become the "herring-in-vinegret" convert and I’m not going back!

RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
3-4 medium boiled potatoes
2-3 small boiled baked beets
3 boiled carrots
4 pickles
Half of a Red onion
Green sweet peas canned or thawed from frozen
Fresh dill
Sunflower or olive oil
Salt to taste
Pickle brine vinegar to taste

Optional:
Salted herring
Fermented cabbage

PREPARATION
Preparation is pretty straightforward, you want to cut everything in cubes the size of the sweet pea. To make each bite fulfilling make sure to put equal amounts of everything (adjust accordingly). Make sure to cut the beets last so other vegetables preserve some of their color!
