Over the past 3 months I’ve photographed 330 children & families. I’ve loved meeting & capturing moments with every one of you 💫 This fabulous girl pictured I’ve been photographing since she was 1!!

When you book a photographer, you’re not just paying for the hour spent at your session. You’re investing in years of experience, countless hours behind the scenes, and a small business dedicated to creating something meaningful for your family.

Before your session there are emails, planning, scheduling, location scouting, outfit coordination, permits when needed, and making sure every detail is ready so your experience feels effortless.

During your session, I’m not simply pressing a button. I’m watching the light, directing poses, finding genuine smiles, calming nervous children, chasing toddlers, fixing hair, adjusting clothing, and capturing moments that can never be recreated.

Then comes the part many people never see: the editing. Every image is carefully reviewed, selected, and professionally edited. While most people are asleep, you’ll often find me sitting at my computer long after my own children have gone to bed, editing image after image. During busy seasons, those late nights can turn into early mornings.

Behind that are the ongoing costs of running a professional photography business: cameras ($3,500+each), lenses ($2,500+each), powerful computers, editing software subscriptions, gallery hosting, website fees, insurance, education, multiple hard drives, taxes, marketing, studio upkeep, backdrops, props, client wardrobe pieces, and so much more.

This isn’t a complaint, it’s the opposite.
I am incredibly grateful for every family, child, couple, and client who trusts me with their memories. Your support allows me to do what I love while supporting my own family.

Photography is so much more than clicking a button. It’s time, skill, creativity, investment, dedication, and heart.
