SAG-AFTRA CONTRACT RATIFIED!
If you’re anything like me, the last seven months have been ROUGH. It’s been hard trying to stay positive and focused and determined on a daily basis during an industry shut down. But fighting for the rights and better conditions for writers and actors has been worth it. In honor of getting back to work, I’m bringing back another Actor to Showcase. is a good friend and superbly talented actor. I feel lucky to get to meet and work with so many amazing actors on a daily basis. Thanks to everyone for staying !

- Where are you originally from?
I’m from Bondurant Iowa and I’ve been acting 2000.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
My favorite role was Kenny in Fuddy Meers.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
My other passion is positive reinforcement dog training. I do private training and started my own business during the pandemic. .with.rollin (this is Jesse again. Seriously, hire Rollin for your dog, you won’t regret it!)
- What is something that not many people know about you?
One thing people may not know at first glance is that I want to play a villain although I am just super sweet in real life.

- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
I’m a native from Palmdale, CA but did spend some of my childhood in New York!
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
I’ve been acting on and off since a kid, my favorite role was on a PBS Science show in the 90s which was so long ago, I don’t even remember the name haha. But that definitely broke the mold for me to get exposed to being in front of the camera!
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
Outside of acting, I love music! I love playing the piano, drums, guitar, and LOVE freestyle hip hop dancing! I also am a HUGE automotive and motorcycle enthusiast! Anything wheels? SHOOOOT, I’ve done it! And I too enjoy photography—capturing moments which I know Jesse is passionate about too! Hehe. Oh, and I’m lowkey a book nerd and most people don’t know I’m actually a former EMT.
- What is something that not many people know about you?
I can spin a basketball on all 5 of my fingers!

- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
I’ve lived in Los Angeles my whole life and have been acting honestly since birth. My first acting job was with my family in a Birdseye commercial when I was only 7-8 months old.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
The most iconic role I’ve probably played was Chelsea, Barbie’s littlest sister, for almost 5 years. I worked on many projects as Chelsea but the coolest projects I played her on were the ‘Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures’ series and the ‘Barbie and Chelsea The Lost Birthday’ movie. Those projects are both on Netflix. That movie was so fun to film because it was the first ever Chelsea movie. I’m seriously so thankful for that role!
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
Aside from acting, I’ve also been dancing professionally almost my whole life. I started training in dance when I was only 2 years old, and I got more serious about it when I was around 5 years old. I started in the dance competition world and moved into a more professional career pretty early on. I train and take industry dance classes almost every day and it’s something that I’m very passionate about. I’ve worked on tons of cool projects such as On My Block, Raven’s Home, and many music videos and other cool projects.
- What is something that not many people know about you?
A fun fact about me is that I finished school when I was only 15. There’s this test called the CHSPE, which stands for the California High School Proficiency Exam. Passing that test meant that I could work as a legal adult and meant that I didn’t need a work permit anymore. Along with that, I had the option to finish school on my own time or just be done after passing the test. I chose to just be done so I can put all of my energy into my career.

I’m originally from Little Silver, NJ, and I’ve been acting since I was kid (1st commercial when I was 10)!
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
Either Bottom in ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ or Miranda Priestly in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
I love teaching, writing, directing, and baking cookies.

This is a version; Jill was one of my very first clients! And she’s still crushing it as an actor!!!
- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
PHILADELPHIA, PA. I’ve been acting nice for decades lol but I’ve been professionally acting since 2006ish.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
A disgruntled Daenerys Targaryen fan who tries to fix the ending to Game of Thrones.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
I love reading, writing, biking with my husband and daughter and traveling.
- What is something that not many people know about you?
I just discovered I probably have ADHD and it has changed my life for the better to know I’m not broken, just have a differently wired brain. So if you ever thought you just couldn’t get your s**t together and/or were maybe defective, take a quiz/seek a professional diagnosis and see if maybe you’re actually just neurodivergent like me!

Next up… Stacy Citron!!! ( )
- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
I’m originally from a small town outside Seattle- I’ve been acting since I was 7.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
My college production of ‘Songs For A New World’. There were only 4 of us in the cast and it was super fun! Recently, pre-strike, I was in a commercial where I got to improvise the whole time AND pretend to be a property owner in Los Angeles- the dream.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
Besides acting I work as a singer and songwriter, so you can catch me all around LA singing both at public venues like Hotel Cafe and private parties (backyard jam sessions are my personal favorites!). I’ll be on the picket lines with some band mates to help cheer on my union members!
If you’re into musical improv, I host a show called ‘Key Party’ that’s on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at The Clubhouse in Silverlake. Admission is free and it’s a fun show.
I also own a private Hebrew tutoring company, so if you need help for a B’nai Mitzvah, I’m your gal!
In terms of hobbies, I’m into a good hike or peloton ride. I’ve also gotten very into audio books and paint by numbers- during this strike I’ve really entered my Golden Girls Era.
- What is something that not many people know about you?
I can sing the National Anthem without opening my mouth. A weird and useless party trick, but handy when needed when a Passover Seder takes too long.

- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
Originally from Fairmont, Minnesota. I started acting in community theater when I was around 10! And was bit by the proverbial "bug" almost instantly.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
My favorite role that I've ever played is from a piece of original work back in 2019. "Writing Wonderland", a play created by my wonderful wife Lacy Blake ( ), was about Lewis Carroll and his creating of Alice In Wonderland. I got to play Lewis and it was the greatest artistic honor of my life.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
If I'm not acting, you can probably catch me playing video games. If, for whatever reason, I'm not doing that: chances are I'm talking about either comic books or the NFL.
- What is something that not many people know about you?
I'm a drummer! I've been drumming for as long as I've been acting, and it's the single most therapeutic activity for me to partake in.

Next up… Ivonne Durant ( ) !!!
- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
I was born on the Island of Puerto Rico and came to the mainland around the age of 6, landing in the state of Ohio. Around 11 my family moved to the East Coast, eventually settling in NYC where I went to High School, College, and well became an adult.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
It was in NYC where I got the bug and began to act, sing, and work behind the scenes. In both film and theater. I took drama and played drums in high school. You could say I started acting in my teens, but only pursued it professionally in my later years.
My favorite role thus far has been my first professional paid role. Why? Because I honestly never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be the person in front of a camera. It was and still is mindblowing that I can call myself a professional actor.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
Besides acting, I love all things creative such as singing, writing, and designing. I love great stories and documentaries. I love great wine, great food, wonderful company and dogs.
- What is something that not many people know about you?
I'm not sure if people can tell but I'm not as tough as people think I am. I cry at weddings, a child's laugh makes me giddy and looking into the eyes of a dog warms my heart. I know, corny. Oh and I am a hopeful
romantic.

- Where are you originally from and how long have you been acting?
I’m originally from New Jersey and started performing in junior high plays as Lead Dancer. After graduation, I continued dancing within Princeton Community Theatre Productions. This led to acting classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NY City.
- What's your favorite role you've ever played?
It’s hard to pick a favorite – each one has fond memories. Starting with ‘Herman’s Head’ after two days of work, I was upgraded with a speaking line at the 11th hour. ‘Darlin’’was so fun, the role entailed acting and dancing. Also, the emotional role I played in ‘Memories’ was filmed at Laguna Beach, which needed to be captured right at sunset.
- Other than acting, what else do you love to do?
I LOVE decorating for the different seasons and holidays!
- What is something you would want people to know?
