Girls be like, “I needed that” (I really did, tho!!!), and it’s a solo omakase lunch at the new .la. 🍣😇

But actually, these prices for THIS quality is wild, but it’s also zero shocking because it’s the same owners as my tried-and-true sushi spot I grew up with in Toluca Lake, the legendary .kabosu. What makes this tiny, family-owned sushi group unique is that Haya-san does crazy, high-quality omakase just as well as he does fun rolls - there’s truly something for everyone! .la’s also introduced a more traditional kaiseki menu to this location as well (which I opted to add on to my lunch omakase), so even more goodies to try!
