Fire is a purifier. It consumes what does not belong and refines what remains. Don’t Run from it, rather towards it

The men stand before the steps of a church symbolizing the presence of God with fire ignited between them. It reminds us of how God has always used fire as a sign of His presence, purification, and call to holiness.

Like Moses before the burning bush (Exodus 3), or the disciples whose hearts burned as Jesus walked with them (Luke 24), this image is a mirror for our spiritual journey. We are often called to pause before the flame, to be still in the presence of a holy God, and to allow our hearts to catch fire again.

The flame here isn’t just physical it represents the fire of devotion, repentance, and surrender. The location matters too: it’s at the door of the church, just as many of us stand at the threshold of deeper faith, waiting for the Spirit to lead us further.
