I’m excited to announce my first solo exhibition “Looking Up” at Foothill College/Gallery 6100. The theme of this exhibit is belonging to the natural environment and features my most passionate works - sublime images of Yosemite and environmental portraiture. Thank you, for this opportunity, and a special thank you to for the invaluable mentorship and guidance!

Exhibition Dates: February 2 - March 31
Opening Reception: Friday Feb. 2, 5:00-7:00 pm.
Virtual Artist Talk: Wednesday March 6, 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.

I'm excited to share that my photograph "Horizons" will be in the exhibit Pretty in Pink at the in Oakland. Thank you, and , for selecting my work, and congratulations to the other artists in the show.

The exhibit is on view from January 20-February 24.
The opening reception is between 4-6 pm on Saturday, January 20, and I hope to see you at the opening!

Thank you, Juror for including my piece "Snow and Ice No. 2" in the 2023 International Juried Exhibition (IJE) . I'm honored to have my work among great artists in this show.

The 2023 IJE has a variety of photographs that feature awe-inspiring Western landscapes, abstractions, contemporary concerns, and community. It's on view until January 21, 2024, and worth seeing!

Lastly, I'm in awe of the turnout of support I received from my family and friends at the opening reception. I'm grateful that each of you made the trek to Carmel so we could share this moment, and I wish I could share all of our photos in this post.

I'm honored to have one of my Yosemite images accepted in the 2023 International Juried Exhibition
The distinguished juror selected 45 images for the gallery exhibition from 2,000 entries by artists across the globe.
Thank you to juror for including my work in the exhibit and to for the support and encouragement.

The third new area of Yosemite I visited in 2023 was the Grand Canyon of Tuolumne (GCOT), which I completed as a 3-day solo backpacking trip. It was an unusual trip because I woke up to wildfire smoke on the second day and experienced snow on the third. The wildfire smoke and low storm clouds made the GCOT one of the most dramatic landscapes I've seen in Yosemite.

I attempted to capture the tragedy of climate change but instead created a sublime image of wildfire smoke above the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. I'm conflicted by this image, and I hope it's not an endorsement of climate change.

Hi Y'all! I'm humbled to have my print "Snow and Ice" included in the Center for Photographic Art's 8x10 show this month! It's a fundraising auction that includes work from legendary artists and rising stars. Please check out the auction website to see all the available images for bidding (link at the bottom).
