Finally time for a new photo! There have been so many cloudy nights this spring, I haven't had the telescope out at all. This past week, I finally got two good nights of imaging at Furhaven Farm to compile this image of the Dumbbell Nebula (M27). Two updates! I changed things up a bit for the colors on the Pacman Nebula and that is available in The Stellar Spectrum shop right now. I also got the Andromeda Galaxy photo in the shop. These would make stunning additions to your wall, so check them out!

I finally was able to get a shot I'm happy with for our closest galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy. This must have been my fifth try, and every time before there seemed to be something that didn't turn out right. Look for a touched up version in the Stellar Spectrum store soon!

Getting the telescope out in the clear, dry air of New Mexico tonight. I took this with my Pixel 8 and you can even see the Andromeda Galaxy that I'm shooting in the center of the frame.

Working on a project for 2025 to complete the entire Messier Catalog. I got started this week with star clusters M34, M35, and M36, as well as reflection nebula M78.

While visiting my parents in south Arkansas, there were four straight nights of clear skies. In winter that means lots of imaging hours, so here are the newest additions to The Stellar Spectrum shop! Soul Nebula (Top L), Crab Nebula (Top R), Bode's Galaxy + Cigar Galaxy (Bottom L), Cone Nebula (Bottom R). Calendars for 2025 are sold out, but message me if you are interested and I'll add you to the list if I decide to order more!
