BENEFIT for EMMA!

I am opening 50 spots for $20 each in hopes of raising $1000 for Emma! You can purchase as many spots as you would like. I will list the numbers 1-50 in the comments. Please comment which number you would like. Once all spots are filled I will draw a winner for a free photography session with me. (Family, sports, maternity, milestones)

A little about Emma from her mom.

Emma is my 10 year old daughter. We went to her 10 year old check up at her primary doctor where they did extra bloodwork because she was in the lower percentile for weight. We found out the next day that her levels were significantly higher than they should be and were referred immediately to UNC Children’s Nephrology team. We quickly found out that her kidneys were abnormally too small and were struggling to maintain her growing body. We were were initially told that she would need a transplant before her 18th birthday but that news has changed in the recent months. Emma was put on the kidney transplant list on April 5th but is currently inactive due to her needing a few more appointments first. We are thinking that her transplant will be pretty soon (probably before Christmas) based off of what we are being told and all that we are having to do at the moment. Her doctors are all in Raleigh or chapel hill so we have been traveling 2 hours and 45 minutes to those appointments. Her surgery is covered, but all the money raised will be put into an account through the organization COTA. She will have access to the funds deposited for anything dealing with her diagnosis for the rest of her life.

Hey guys! I know I have not been posting sessions and sneak peeks on my photography page lately. I am still here! 🙂

With that said my schedule is opening up for more photography!

I would love to book all the sports sessions, as they are my favorite! Fire and action shots!

I absolutely love when newborn sessions incorporate meaningful things. She is smiling wrapped in the arms of a teddy bear made from her grandpas shirt rocking in the same chair he was rocked in as a baby. 🥰

Time starts racing by from the moment a child is born. You blink and they have already changed. That sweet newborn nestled snug in your arms soon becomes a toddler getting into everything.
