The secret to a wedding day that actually feels fun, relaxed, and magical? A timeline built with breathing room! 🥂✨
When you book with me, I don't just show up with a camera on wedding day—we work together on your custom photography timeline months in advance so you never feel rushed, stressed, or pulled in a million directions! I will get all the little details I need through a wedding day questionnaire that will allow me to build the perfect timeline that caters to YOUR perfect day 🤍
Here are 3 timeline rules I swear by for my couples:
1️⃣ Always add in some buffer time. Trust me on this one.... your day will feel so much more smooth, not as rushed, and overall just more enjoyable!
2️⃣ If at all possible, carve out 25 minutes for golden hour portraits so you and your new spouse get a quiet moment alone. These are the pictures you're going to want to post every year on your anniversary, hang on your wall, etc... If having natural light portraits is important to you - think about when the sunset is ahead of time (and from that - determine if a first look may be necessary)
3️⃣ Pre-plan family formals photo lists with names!!! I AM BIG on this. I would much rather call out the group by name than just say "the bride's family." People know where to be and when, and when we're organized - we can wrap up in under 20 minutes to get you straight to the partttaaayyyyy! 💃
