I put some money aside to build a pantry. Filled with food. I look at it like this way if anything happens. like i remember years ago all POWER went out in Ohio. and you couldn't buy gas because its all electronic. You go to stores an there cashier registers don't work with out power. and stand in lines for days. Mostly everybody DEPENDS on food from a store or electricity to heat your home in the winter so you don't freeze to death. or keep your food cold in summer. and DEPEND on water coming out your faucets. just like FLINT MICHIGAN depended on that water coming to there houses. Some kids died. and others got sick. I live in Michigan and don't trust what comes out my faucet. I got stacks of water bottles i drink. I ain't taking chances like FLINT MICHIGAN that you heard in the news. My whole point is don't DEPEND on resources that can be taken away from you. I look at it like this way if anything happens. like i remember years ago all POWER went out in Ohio. and you couldn't buy gas because its all electronic. My whole point is don't DEPEND on resources that can be taken away from you . Some say WORLD WAR 3 is coming. Or a wild fire, a tornado. I say if or not. It's always good to be prepared for anything. Would be nice if you got money to buy "Wind turbines" to generate electricity. Or solar panels. or at least have a wood burner in the winter months. but money is tight for many to do these things. I look at the Amish people they don't DEPEND on stores to feed them. or electricity to heat them and bring light at night. Shoot why wait for any situation and then struggle for months or more. It's all about being prepared friends..........Even food in a pantry will always be there. Maybe a month your struggling to make ends meet. There's food in cans with "expired dates" for years to come. It's all about taking care of the ones you LOVE...... Don't DEPEND on what your used too when it can be all gone.
