I worked an event at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek recently and worked along side an old family friend. I'm talking Glenridge Middle School days, way way back. Rob Diez and I played in a couple of bands together. Rafael is Rob's older brother and an amazing artist. He had crowds all night wanting to get their caricatures done on golf balls. Intro to Digital Photography — For Middle & High School Students

We’re excited to offer an 8-week Intro to Digital Photography class at Reiter Park in Longwood, FL, meeting on consecutive Thursdays from May 28 through July 16. There are two sessions each Thursday: 10:00–11:30 AM and 1:00–2:30 PM.

This hands-on course, taught by a professional photographer with 20 years of experience, helps middle and high school students build technical skills and creative confidence. Students will learn camera settings, lighting, composition, and basic editing in a supportive, project-based environment. They’ll photograph people, nature, and everyday scenes while developing their own style and learning to make images with purpose.

Students will need a DSLR or mirrorless camera with at least one lens (a zoom lens is preferred but not required) and a memory card for each session. A tripod is recommended but optional.

Each student will also need access to a computer for viewing and editing files at home.

Please also send a water bottle and a snack with your student for each session.
