I dug my big girl camera out today to capture this of our youngest refusing to nap in our new apartment. We've had a lot of change in the last month and I think it's been hardest on her. We sold our house so we're living temporarily in a lovely little apartment. Her bedroom here has these sliding glass doors and vertical blinds that she likes to stand behind to keep an eye on things outside. I've been trying for a couple of days to capture it but it hadn't worked until today. (side note: I forgive her for spending nap time looking outside because later on she fell asleep in my arms at the pool and I got some quality snuggle time.)

She was so alert and calm in her daddy's arms. I'm sure she can feel how much she is loved.
