At the moment I have about 5 ideas in mind for shoots. Most will be Halloween-ish. Maybe more of an uneasy feel than a monster/ghostly feel, and also keep in mind my style of shooting. Waivers must be signed as well. If this sounds like something youre interested in and you can really pull off body language, sell the feel of fear and can shoot the style with no issues, lets talk.

Imagine this. A model walking into your studio and asking to speak to you. They tell you how much they love your work and wanna work with you. They then proceed to tell you how much they want to charge YOU to photograph THEM. Backwards right? Models. Photographers do not pay you. Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Etc have never been paid by a photographer for a shoot. The publication they're seen in paid both, them & the photographer. A model does not get to approach a photographer and ask for money for his/her photography services. If you're shooting for a publication or company, it is that companies responsibility to pay you both and then you give your agents etc, their cut. My agents get 10% if they book me for a job. If you do a TFP, sure, you two work out something...but its usually an agreement for exactly what TFP stands for

I was watching a podcast today by a concert photographer. The subject was releases for photographers to shoot events, and the restrictions. Most will want you to sign your rights away which keeps you from using them for future use, selling to outlets, ur personal portfolio etc. So basically you shoot this event and thats that...you have no control of your work from there. He said "Look. Painters sit in a studio for hours upon hours painting a masterpiece for free. They dont get paid for that time. The only way they get paid is if they sell their work. Though photographers get a paycheck for the event, its definitely not much. And most photographers wanna make a living at it full time which means, its also your retirement plan. You have to be able to sell your work. Dont sign a contract that doesnt allow it no matter how much of a bucket list opportunity it is.". Hes exactly right.

Looking for a tatted female model that doesnt mind shooting on the edgier side of things, just for a few shots this weekend. Will be hot rod shop theme which means there will be tools, grease, grit & sass. Must sign release. Shoot will be in Kilgore Tx.

I wish I could take credit for shooting these Icons, but at least I am blessed enough to still have them in my collection all these years later
