This is Kendra. We’ve been friends since 5th grade, and if there’s one thing I’ve always known about her, it’s that she was meant to be a mom.
Growing up in a family of eight, she always dreamed of having a big family of her own someday. The Massey family was such a special part of my childhood, and I always felt so lucky to be welcomed into their home. There was never a dull moment huge family dinners, endless games of tag and hide and seek, and a house that was always full of love, laughter, and people.
Now, here we are 18 years later (which somehow makes me feel very old!), and she’s about to welcome her first baby girl into the world. Even as kids, I knew she would make an incredible mother one day.
I’m so excited to watch her step into this next chapter of life and become the kind of home we all loved growing up the house where all the kids want to be, where memories are made, and where everyone feels welcome.
I love you, sis. Thank you for letting me be part of your family for all these years. I can’t wait to watch you become the amazing mom I always knew you’d be.
