I grew up watching my Dad and his love of photography and music, his creativity inspired me. He would take me on walks, day or night, and we would practice taking photos together. She loved working with watercolor and home decorating and flower arranging. She also loved decorating wedding cakes. I guess this is where I caught my creative bug. I started out drawing and painting as a child, then as
I grew older, I began my venture with decorating cakes and also with scrapbooks. Well, in order to do scrapbooks, you have to have lots of photos. My poor children were so tired of having to be Mom's little models, but they soon learned to love photography as well. This is how my photography business came about. I wanted to do something special with my kids, so L & B Photography was born in 2011. My daughter Lauren loves to do more action, pets, and Senior portraits and I have more of a desire for Wedding, Engagement, Maternity, and Birthing photography and possibly Bo***ir (very beautiful and tasteful) Sessions in the near future. How long does it take to get my pictures back? Your hi-resolution Disc or USB card is guaranteed to be in your hands within 3-4 weeks for Family/Senior/Maternity photos. Wedding photography takes up to 6-8 weeks due to the extremely huge amount of photos to edit. Each photo is edited to our style so it does take some time to finish! Do I get every picture taken that day? When sorting through any session we filter the best images from the rest. You will receive a photo of each pose that we capture but we do not release any images that do not meet our standards. [blur, blinks, exposure failures, duplicates... etc] You can expect to receive anywhere from 800-1500 images for weddings and 25 to ? for an hour portrait session. It depends on what type of session you are needing photographed. Do you do photo edits, black & whites etc? We love to have fun with post processing of portraits. You'll notice when you get your disc that our favorite photos may have a variety of colors & edits. If you are sure that you do not personally like black & white or any other color variations please let us know ahead of time! Can I take my Disc or USB card to a local lab and order prints? Yes you can. Order as many prints as you want, have fun with your photos and come back for more through our website her on Zenfolio!
