Marathon Sunday was a week ago and it still feels like it just happened. I finally got to go over photos of the runners as they went by LIC. So many big smiles as they zipped by. I love the energy that the runners and those cheering shared at mile 14.

The Metropolitan Opera 25-26 season has started. Here are some moments from last month's pre-season Young Associates of Metropolitan Opera gala. It was an evening full of biding on silent auction items while enjoying drinks and food thanks to sponsors. Peter Gelb gave a warm welcome and introduced the performers for the night.

What my camera can see vs what my eye sees.
I love the architecture and landscape detail shots I can get with a zoom lens.
These were taken with my 70-200mm lens and a 2x converter. Looking forward for action shots with a combination of 400mm and the Nikon Z8.

A photographer at work. The only photo i have of me from the many events I've taken recently.
The last few weeks have been so busy and entertaining. I got to be at so many different locations and different types of events. I've done some headshots, music acts, awards, mental health, partie, and private events. I've had to use every trick in the book and gear in my bag to get the shots. My Nikons have been busy, especially my new Z, which has been beyond amazing. Had a bit of an adjustment period, but now I feel one with it.

I was on Wall Street yesterday to take photos for a client and noticed this. It is sad when a company like Newsmax will now try and benefit from the market and suckers who will put money into it to prove that this extreme "news" source is a God send and now gets more money to push lies.
Not lost is the coincidence with the DOW dropping nearly 1700 points on the day Newsmax goes public.
Please, verify your sources. Even the ones you trust, read the same story from one other source to ensure some facts weren't left orlut that changes the whole perspective on a topic. I even look at foreign news on topics to see their perspective so that i don't see things from our local views bubble.
