Originally from Central Florida, Mikey now lives in Astoria, New York with her wife and her dog, Pig. She got her first camera at the age of three and hasn’t stopped shooting since. In her free time she develops her film at home in her makeshift darkroom, and sells handmade lavender stuffed animals. Mikey's work has been featured in Vogue, Nylon, Domino, Cools, Bustle, Spotify, Buzzfeed, The NY Post and in Red Magazine.

So excited to share that one of my photos was selected to be featured in the Spring issue of ! If you look through the pages of Heartful (which you should) you’ll find the many emotions of parenthood, the magic of childhood, and most importantly, all sorts of ways to be a family. Always an honor to be featured alongside so many talented photographers!

Forever pinching myself that I get to work with such wonderful people who trust me enough to invite me into their lives time and time again. Deeply grateful that I get to do this for a living.

After spending a long morning at the beach, it was time to head home and wind down. Cards, cars, lots of snacks, and (of course) more cars. Shoutout to sweet Abbey who stayed very still so Finn could use her back as a car ramp🥹

Sunday morning routines! Bagels, Frozen sing-a-longs, scooters, and (of course) a trip to the playground. One of my favorite types of sessions.

Some scenes from one of the many snow days we’ve already had this season. Marissa just so happened to plan her maternity session the morning of a snow storm so we obviously had to end things with a good romp in the park! Then, by some cosmic magic, she actually ended up giving birth during the following snow storm!

When Tera reached out about photos for her daughter’s 1st birthday, she mentioned that her son had NOT been into family photos in the past. We remedied that by planning a morning he would actually enjoy (he even ran into a friend at the playground)! Turns out he is quite the comedian and had us laughing all morning!!
