I just came across this session I photographed last July and thought it was the perfect time to share it as we head into warmer months and more beach maternity sessions.

Tiffany was expecting her third child, and we created a session that celebrated both motherhood and their family as it was in that moment.

A family session and maternity session can blend together so beautifully, especially with little ones involved. It becomes less about posing and more about connection, love, and preserving a moment in life that changes so quickly.

These beach sunset photos are such a sweet reminder of that.

James and Jackie’s proposal photos in their beautiful portrait box.

It stands upright like a frame, so they can display one favorite image at a time and rotate through the prints whenever they want.

I love seeing clients hold their images in their hands and relive the moment all over again. This is the part I love most: turning your photos into something real, beautiful, and lasting.

Not just files on a screen, but a piece of your story you can keep coming back to.

Congratulations to James and Jackie!

Their April 18 proposal was chilly, but they braved the beach and made it such a sweet day to photograph. I’m so happy I got to capture this moment for them and all the love and excitement that came with it.

I can’t wait for them to see their finished keepsake box with their favorite portraits.

Daisy is back in front of my camera.

You may recognize this sweet goldendoodle from the cover of City Lifestyle, Greater Long Branch Magazine. She modeled for me before, and clearly she still knows exactly what she’s doing.

These new sky portraits were taken in the park, which is one of the things I love about this style of portrait. It does not have to be at the beach to feel dramatic and beautiful. With the right light, sky, angle, and expression, these can be created in all kinds of locations.

These portraits are designed with finished artwork in mind, and the color, contrast, and sky look especially beautiful as metal wall art for the home.

If you would love portraits like this of your own dog, I would be happy to talk with you about creating something beautiful and personal for your home.

October 5, 2025 — Alex and Gab’s Proposal

Sunset on the beach, she said yes, and everything that followed was just pure emotion.

The hugs, the laughter, that just-engaged feeling where nothing else matters for a minute. Those are the moments I love most.

So happy I got to be there to capture it, and finally sharing a few favorites from their night. 🩷

Some dogs pose. Some dogs make an entrance.

I’m excited to start offering dramatic sky portraits for dogs, designed to feel bold, playful, and full of personality.

These are for the dogs who deserve more than ordinary photos and for the people who know their dog is a work of art.

If you’d love something like this for your own dog, send me a message for details.

I had the best time delivering James and Marie’s proposal album and seeing how excited they were to flip through every page, relive the moment, and already start thinking about showing it to family and friends. That is the beauty of preserving your images this way. It becomes more than just photographs. It becomes part of your story.

This custom handcrafted Italian album is not your average album. It can even be displayed standing upright like a picture frame, so it can be seen and enjoyed every day.

It is such a beautiful way to turn meaningful moments into something tangible, living in your home and not just on your phone.

You didn’t plan for your dog to become your whole life… but here you are.

They’re part of everything.
Your routines, your weekends… probably your side of the bed.

And somehow, there’s still nothing that captures all of you together in a way that feels like this.

Something that lives in your home, not just on your phone.

Photographing the connection between dogs and their people has always been at the heart of my work. If this feels like you, you can learn more here:

February 7, 2026 — a proposal like no other.

James proposed to Maria at the waterfront at the Rum Runner in what might have been the coldest conditions I’ve ever photographed in. The river was completely frozen, snow piled everywhere, and the wind was hitting close to 30 mph. It felt like -15.

Maria walked out in a dress and a light sweater.

And somehow none of that mattered.

The moment James got down on one knee, all you could see was her excitement. She didn’t feel the cold, she was just fully in it.

It was one of those moments that reminds you why this matters so much.

After, we went inside and photographed them with their families, and planned the second part of their session for warmer weather.

A month later, we met at the beach. Still not exactly warm, but a completely different feel. Slower, more relaxed. Just the two of them, taking it all in.

That combination, the intensity of the proposal and the calm after, is what made this so special.

These images become a beautiful record of the moment, often preserved as artwork or in a custom album.

I can’t wait for you both to see this in print 💗

Spent the morning and afternoon at the annual Easter egg hunt at Pier Village hosted by Doggie Sweets, snapping a few cute photos of dogs and their people along the way.

Simple moments, but you can still feel the connection.
