My name is Menucha Colish. I am a professional portrait photographer primarily working with medium format film.

My photography practice is built on a deep appreciation for human connection. I believe that the best photographs are born from a genuine relationship between the photographer and the subject. I take the time to get to know you, understand your story, and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. This connection allows me to capture your true personality and the meaningful relationships that define your life.

I have 7+ years of experience shooting family portraits, individual portraits, headshots, backyard and courthouse weddings, birthday parties, events, maternity photos, and couples photoshoots.

the shekhinah, the divine, dwells with us in all of our experiences, sharing in our pain and joy.

when we are deep in grief it is easy to forget that she dwells with us there too.

like a mothers love, the shekhinah, never leaves. she may change form, but never abandons us.

this tisha b’av, may we be blessed to feel the shekhinah’s holy presence in all of our joys and all of our pain.
