Thankful for this.

This trend lines perfectly up with a post to tell you how thankful I am for all of you. Thankful for everyone who’s followed and supported my business over the last 15 years, thankful for the opportunity to take risks and see the rewards of them but also just as important to learn from the failures of some. Thankful for having a special place I get to welcome all my clients and create the art I love. But most of all, thankful for everyone who steps in my door and trust me to capture some of the most important moments and seasons of their life, thank you. 🤍🤍 wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

I spend most of my time photographing maternity and newborn sessions, and that’s really where my focus is and I do stay true to specializing in those. But every now and then, I get to photograph families outside, and it always feels extra special. I’ll be honest, it’s not something I offer often, but when it’s for my existing clients, especially during golden hour, I make it happen when I can. I don’t open many outdoor spots, but when I do, the sun always feels magical.

With that being said, although outdoor is lovely, if you’re in Orange County or Los Angeles, my studio sessions are still the best way to capture newborn photos in a calm, light-filled space. Everything is designed around natural light, soft tones, and a relaxed flow so you can just enjoy the process and focus on the moments that matter most.

A cozy yet editorial maternity session in my studio. She booked the Classic Session, so this is part one of two looks. I love when clients choose this option because it gives us time to shoot in multiple areas of the studio and build a beautiful story through the session.

I know it can look like these poses are hard to do, but I promise, you can. You just have to trust me with the process, be willing to feel a little awkward at times, and the result is always your true emotion shining through.

Id also like to think a bonus for coming in studio, is there is not much prep work for my clients coming into a newborn session, its all here when you arrive. Much easier to enjoy the moment that way!

Almost Seven years with this family and I love every time they walk in!

I don’t take on many family sessions since my focus is mainly on maternity and newborn photography, but when I do, it’s always extra special, especially for families I’ve been photographing for years.
It’s so easy to put off family photos, but it’s always worth coming in. The session is simple, relaxed, and actually fun once we get started. I love that they still make the trip from Orange County. Long Beach really isn’t that far and it’s the perfect central spot for both my Los Angeles and Orange County clients. My studio just is all what coastal so cal embraces. The perfect kind of calm, right next to the ocean bluffs, and designed for this kind of light. 🤍
